  2. Your magazine is beautifully done, the art work and layout is fabulous and articles remarkable. I loved them all. I shared the issue with a visiting friend who has this to say, “While visiting my friend’s farm near Viroqua, I read the new magazine on RealSmallTowns. I remember the area from 40 years ago, when our family would make a yearly canoe trip on the Kickapoo River and the towns were so small. The magazine was so inspiring that I sent the link to my nephew, who is involved in a project to encourage small town businesses in Vermont. Being a cyclist myself, I totally enjoyed the story on the Blue Dog Bicycle shop. More than the biking, the story was such a good example of people with a vision, finding a place, and then trusting that with a good idea and some small steps, then everything else would unfold. But every article had its own message and example, just as every town is different. And that is why real small towns are so important.”

    • I am currently hoping to publish it 2x per year. Now that the 2nd issue is out I am putting more energy into monetizing the project so that I can bring more people on board to keep the website fresh, improve my social media presence, and keep the magazine in circulation.
