We focus on local U.P. and Michigan products, and strive to partner with local farmers when ever possible, ideally developing a symbiotic relationship, while strengthening the local economy.
The menu has a seasonal farm to table focus with a few staple items, having more vegetable forward, lighter dishes in the late spring, summer and fall months and more of a heartier, braised meats, root vegetable, and home made pasta focused menu in the winter months.
The Marq provides a unique and complex approach to locally sourced seasonal products, highlighted through our rotating menus and approachable, knowledgable staff. We intend to create a comfortable atmosphere where the diner feels confident bringing a date but also stopping in on the way back from the ski hill or a bike ride for a drink and a quick bite.
